About the event:
Read & Run Chicago is exploring a changing Logan Square–literary style.
Join us City Lit Books on Saturday, June 13 at 9:00 AM for a three and a half-mile running tour with guide Grace McGann inspired by LGNSQ, a photography book
about the people and places that define Logan Square, a community in the midst of gentrification in Chicago.
Along the route, you’ll see public art, community spaces, and local businesses and learn about the people who have worked to build and define this neighborhood.
After the running tour, stick around for snacks, coffee, and social time at City Lit Books.
As this is a running tour, there is no pre-reading required. If you’re interested in reading LGNSQ, you can borrow from a local branch of the Chicago Public Library.
Prefer to skip the run? Skip the run and bike with BFF Bikes.

About Ben Tanzer: Ben (he/him) is an Emmy-award winning coach, creative strategist, podcaster, writer, teacher, advisor, mentor, and social worker who has been helping nonprofits, publishers, authors, small business and career changers tell their stories for 30 years.
