We are building out our Winter 2026 Read & Run Season Lineup—and we want you to help choose what makes the cut (of pizza? Maybe)!
Whether you're dreaming of a Book Club Run that traces your favorite characters’ paths, a history-filled Running Tour to change your perception of the city, or a Fun Run that ends with Italian cookies (yes, please!), this is your chance to tell us what you want to see on the calendar.
Read & Run Chicago has been hosting book-themed guided runs since 2021. Since then, we’ve run hundreds of miles together bringing stories to life and celebrating local authors, indie bookstores, and libraries along the way. No matter which type of event we host—Book Club Runs, Fun Runs, Trail Runs, or Running Tours—everything we do uses movement and stories to help us better understand ourselves, each other, and this city we call home.
Vote for your top 3 favorites in each category using the form below. Voting only takes a minute, and your input helps us create events that you want to show up for—even when it’s 20 degrees out.
👇 Cast your votes now! 👇
📅 Voting closes on July 31, so be sure to share with your running friends, book club buddies, and anyone else who might want in.
Can’t wait to explore Chicago using movement and stories with you all winter long!
